School carnival explores “CULTURAL HERITAGE”

Gran Alacant´s CEIP DOÑA VIENCETA RUSO School Carnival lit up the streets, this time the school explores “Cultural Heritage” as part of European Year of Cultural Heritage. Our heritage, where the past meets the future.

Leading up to carnival day, the school held cultural related workshops and activities for the students which culminated into the fancy dress carnival parade.

The procession held on Thursday 8th February departed the school at 10.30am passing smoothly along Gran Alacant´s Avda Noruega and Avda Polonia before returning to the school, thanks to help of the local police and may parent volunteers.
