Carril Bici Santa Pola-Gran Alacant Project commences in February 2014

Santa Pola Council have invested 300,000 euros in the construction of viewpoints at the lighthouse, restoration of wells and the enhancement of the mountain bike tracks and pedestrian paths connecting Santa Pola with Gran Alacant.

From Gran Alacant the access points are:

Avenida de Escandinavia, Comercial Centre roundabout, bus stop on Avenida Mediterráneo with three other access points on different urbanizations.

There are four access points in Santa Pola: la Torre de Escaletes (or Torre del Pep), el Depósito de Agua, Rocas Blancas, el centro formativo Cap de L’Aljub and la rotonda de Pablo Iglesias.
