Helping Families in Need at Christmas
Gran Alacant´s European Residents Neighbourhood Association (ASVEGA) have been stationed at the Commercial Centre collecting food for families who find themselves unable to pay their household bills and with no money for meals.
This year a total of 1,106 kg of food and cleaning products were collected and donated to the Santa Pola branch of Cáritas in Santa Pola, a national charity in Spain that helps people in precarious and / or social exclusion.
ASVEGA wish to thank Gran Alacant´s neighbours and visitors for their generosity.
