Santa Pola Council have given the go ahead for a new dog friendly beach along the coastal road towards Santa Pola at the bottom of the Cabo de Santa Pola.

Its new name will be “Caleta dels Gossets” or “Dog Cove” and it is the closest off-leash dog beach to Gran Alacant . Here owners can take their canine pals for a swim and a frolic on the sand all year round.

The dog beach can be found in a small cove (Cala III) located near the Natural Park of Cabo de Santa Pola, a natural beach formed of stone and sands.

ASPETGA were the driving force behind the project. The association founded by a group of neighbours who sought to improve the quality of life for our four-footed friends.
