Santa Pola Council have this week have changed the sign at the entrance to Gran Alacant.

Two signs were replaced on Thursday 14th July 2017.

Towards the left of the image we can see the “El Faro - the lighthouse” situated 152 metres above sea level on the “Cabo de Santa Pola - Cape of Santa Pola” between Gran Alacant and the town of Santa Pola over looking the mediteranean sea. From here you can enjoy the magnificent views of Santa Pola, Alicante and Tabarca Island.

The Cape of Santa Pola is one of Europe´s best known sites for paragliding where you can enjoy the wonderful scenery flying high above Gran Alacant and Santa Pola. A paraglider can also be seen in the image to the right.

In the centre of the image the words “Santa Pola” and below “Gran Alacant Urbanizations”.

And along the bottom social icons with the logo of Santa Pola Tourism.

Gran Alacant is a purpose built town and belongs to Santa Pola.
