Gran Alacant´s streets experienced the CEIP VICENTA RUSO Primary School´s 3rd annual carnival on Thursday 4th February, this year´s theme explored Emotions.

Children spent the week before the parade making the costumes with help from teachers and parents as they explored their emotions. Dressed in hearts, characters from Walt Disney´s film Inside Out and Whatsapp emoticons were just a few of the costumes worn by the children.

The colourful parade passed along Avda Noruega and Avda Polonia receiving a warm welcome from everyone involved including people who came out of their homes to see the spectacle.

The procession was enlivened with music and drums.
