New bike tour of Gran Alacant
Day of the Bicycle - A family Fun Ride
European Residents Neighbourhood Association of Gran Alacant hosted their traditional family fun ride, the `day of the bicycle´ especially dedicated to the youngest members of our community.
Cyclists of all ages gathered in the car park in front of For Riders bike shop to register for the prize draw before setting off on a pleasant afternoon of cycling around Gran Alacant’s neighbourhood.
This year the tour took a new shorter route starting at the Gran Alacant Commercial Centre passing along Avda Noruega, Calle Malta and Carrer Ventura Selva Gonzalez.
The event was rounded off with a prize draw with lucky winners recieving bycicle accessories. Gran Alacant´s Councillor Loreto Cascales Martínez, Javier of For Riders bike shop, Eduardo of E-Bikes and Paul from Gran Alacant´s Wesbsite helped give away the prizes.
Entry was just 1 € and the money donated to Red Cross.
Organised by ASVEGA and the For Riders Bike Shop and in collaboration with Santa Pola Town Hall and Gran Alacant´s Website.
